Dr Mark A. Cordato's orthodontics CD-ROM contains an interesting range of cases. A comprehensive and interactive tutorial treats a lot of the case concepts.
This CD-ROM presents eight orthodontic cases where intervention has improved the dentition from a functional and, or, aesthetic perspective. In a few of the examples simple methods were chosen over more complex ones especially for younger patients. Patient records and histories allow a thorough examination of the cases so treatment plans can be formulated and compared with the results achieved.
Some strategies are given on how some cases may be approached and plans that are mindful of the required patient efforts are presented. In some cases ethical and consent issues are raised, in the context of discussion of treatment options with all relevant parties, which outline how patient decisions might change the treatment plan and result.

Case 1: A mature-aged woman receives molar uprighting.
Case 2: Missing teeth and a crossbite in a nine year-old male.
Case 3: An 11-year-old female with an unerupted central incisor.
Case 4: A female aged six years nine months with anterior crossbite.
Case 5: The patient was referred by her general dentist. When the patient was first seen she was a healthy female, 14 years of age. The dentist had explained to her that the maxillary left second premolar (25) was submerged, as was the 65.
Case 6: A 27-year-old female with aesthetic concerns prepares for a wedding.
Case 7: The patient is a female aged eleven years and ten months.
Case 8: The patient is a male aged five years, who has a deciduous dentition.
