With the start of the XXV Congress of the International Academy of Pathologists 2004 only a few days away, more than 1300 delegates and 200 accompanying guests have now arrived in Brisbane.
Registration takes place this Sunday from 12 noon until 6pm just inside the main entrance of the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on the corner of Merivale and Glenelg Streets, South Bank. A map is provided on the BCEC site.
Satchels containing information and resources for the Congress will be handed out at registration. Information on courtesy buses, which will be running at 7:30am and 8:00am each day of the Congress, will be included in the satchels. The buses will be picking up from a number of locations making it easy for anyone staying in central Brisbane hotels to get to a bus stop.
The Congress welcoming ceremony, accompanied by wine and cheese, will immediately follow the end of registration at 6pm.
