CASE 1: A 50-year-old female presented with renal stones. She had hypercalcemia with a serum calcium level of 3.5 mmol/L.

CASE 2: A 35-year-old male presented with a large retroperitoneal mass measuring 10 x 8 x 5 cm. The mass compressed the adjacent kidney.

CASE 3: A male aged 46 years was undergoing follow-up of a calcaneal fracture. An abnormal serum level of GTP was detected – 280 ng/ml.

CASE 4: A male aged 66 years presented with polyuria and dysuria. These symptoms had been present for approximately one month prior to admission.

CASE 5: A 48-year-old male complained of headache, visual defect, decreased libido and impotence. Magnetic resonance imaging of the sella region revealed a large sellar mass invading the cavernous and sphenoid sinuses and the optic chiasm.

CASE 7: A 53-year-old female presented with a 1.2 cm nodule in the left lobe of the thyroid. Prior to surgery, a fine needle aspiration was performed and interpreted as suspicious for a follicular neoplasm.
